This session is a retrospective look at the winter of 2014 from a commercial insurance perspective. An analysis of the top 25 losses in excess of $100,000 are dissected by loss type, occupancy, geography and dollars incurred from a business interruption and property damage perspective. Also included will be lessons learned and risk mitigation techniques in the areas of wet pipe fire sprinkler systems, dry pipe systems, roofing, building envelope exposures and residential water lines in buildings. The presentation will go beyond protection of fire sprinklers and assesses many loss exposure types. It will conclude by highlighting newer technologies in regards to the reduction of winter weather losses.

Stan Naylor, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Stan Naylor has extensive experience in commercial insurance risk consulting. As MidCorp's Technical Manager, he provides technical loss control engineering expertise in the areas of property and casualty insurance. Stan received his BS in Occupational Safety and Industrial Technology from Illinois State University and holds CPCU, ARM, and CSP designations.
