Reaching Youth Today to Impact Mitigation in the Future
Cathy Prudhomme, NFPA

Instilling wildfire mitigation and risk reduction behaviors and attitudes into the mindset and norms of future generations of WUI homeowners must begin long before they reach adulthood. Through research and structured conversations with middle and high school age youth, NFPA has developed tools to help get this audience to TakeAction in their communities today. Learn how you can incorporate this demographic into your outreach strategy and empower them to help now!
